Microcrafting Techniques

• Under local anesthesia, the operation takes place in a professional setting with relaxing background music.
• A strip is removed from the back of the head where hair continues to grow (since this hair is genetically programmed to last forever).
• Then we seal this removal with absorbable thread. This produces a subtle scar that is easily camouflaged by surrounding hair.
• This strip is then cut up into tiny grafts according to area being covered, the patient's desire, the color of the hair, and the thickness of the transplanted hair. Depending on the assistant, transplantation takes place under magnifying glass or microscope, especially for follicular implants. Along the edge of the scalp, we place the micrografts (1 or 2 hairs) and/or implant the follicles. This is the most sensitive aesthetic zone. Minigrafts (2 to 3, even 4 hairs) are placed behind this edge according to the given parameters so as to best enhance hair mass and volume. The hair is obviously transplanted in the direction of natural growth.
• The patient leaves without bandages. Fine flakes may last for about 10 days.
• The same technique is used for men and women.

• Plugs: aesthetic refurbishing
• Pubic hair grafts: same technique; you must regularly cut the hair.
• Moustache reconstruction in order to cover "rabbit nozzle" scars: same technique...
• Eyebrow grafting: same technique; the choice of the graft is essential.
